Since its inception in 2013, Rob Lebow has photographed over 300 LGBT advocates, artists and performers for his portrait series, Gorgeous. This project honors the experience of those living an authentic life free from shame, and the power that comes with self realization.

Gallery 446 in Palm Springs exhibited the initial collection in 2014 as part of the official Palm Springs Pride celebration. In 2015 Lebow’s portrait of Armen Ra was honored by Round Hole Square Peg in Los Angeles, and chosen to be exhibited at Photo LA. The piece was eventually donated and auctioned at the Trevor Project.

In 2018, the first edition of the Gorgeous book was self-published. Currently, new exhibitions are being pursued around the country as well as publishing opportunities.
